The Coding Manager is responsible for Facility based outpatient and specialty -based coding This position plans, directs and monitors performance for all outpatient coding functions.
The Manager ensures accuracy and integrity of all coded information to support reimbursement, revenue cycle, and data analysis and reporting functions, while maintaining appropriate coding productivity and quality expectations.
The Manager utilizes project management skills, clinical knowledge, coding and documentation to achieve efficient processes, productivity and customer support.
This position contributes to development of the overall strategy for system-wide outpatient coding operations and compliance, consistent with the hospital’s plan to support overall revenue cycle functions and organizational goals.
Certification and Licensure Requirement: RHIA, RHIT,CCS, CPC required.
Qualifications & Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Experience
Coding Management Experience Required

Compensation Base Salary: USD $66,500 to $105,000 -Salary Depends on relevant years of experience
