The Lead Software Engineer Architect role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
Independently determine the needs of the customer while identifying and resolving conflicting or complementary needs across customer groups.
Applying advanced skill, knowledge and experience, design and develop software solutions to meet customer needs.
Use a process-driven approach to leading design solutions.
Implement new software technology and coordinate simultaneous implementation tasks across teams.
May maintain or oversee the maintenance of existing software.
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Minimum Required Experiences
4-5 years architect with excellent model building skills.
2-3 years of experience on building multi-dimensional systems, database design, ETL and deep understanding of forecast/budget systems.
10+ years of experience in software development.
The resource should have led many model developments end-to-end to provide operation ready systems.
The new resource should be willing to adapt/learn any new technology skills as needed for the projects and should be able to mentor juniors in the team.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
The group of skills related to Programming including coding, debugging, and using relevant programming languages
The group of skills related to Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
The group of skills related to Business Insight including advising, designing business models, interpreting customer and market insights, forecasting, bench marking , etc.
Skilled in establishing and maintaining consistency of a product’s performance, functional, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information
Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
The group of skills related to Operational Excellence including improving and overseeing operations
Experience defining and managing changes to documents, code, computer programs, websites, and other files to enable collaboration and ensure teams are working from the latest version
The group of skills related to Product Testing including testing and evaluating software, usability testing, UAT, and using relevant product testing technology
Ability to transform business processes using BPA, RPA, or other technology-enabled automation
The group of skills related to Product Development including designing products, developing product roadmaps, translating design requirements, prototyping, etc.
Experience in the process of analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data
Experience identifying measures, or indicators of system performance, and the actions needed to improve or correct performance to achieve desired outcomes
Determining causes of operating errors and taking corrective action
Ability to frame ideas as systems and analyzing the inputs, outputs, and process
Model Building skills
Skilled in Python object-oriented programming
Skilled in Complex SQLs
Experience using JIRA and Agile practices
Skilled in scripting and batch coding
Experience using APIs for developing or programming software
